Sherwin Nam is a Legal Analyst at the Firm. He focuses on data privacy and security and cybercrime law issues. Mr. Nam earned his Bachelor’s Degrees in French and Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During his studies at Columbia Law School, Mr. Nam has focused primarily on criminal law, data privacy, and public law. In the summer of 2020, he worked as a Summer Associate at a major law firm known for its strength in data privacy, assisting in several matters relating to data privacy issues. In the summer of 2019, he interned at the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, Mr. Nam has held various internships with the District Court for the Central District of California, serving in judicial chambers and in the Clerk’s Office during college summers. He is proficient in French.
